Our last full day and night in York:
On our last full day in York we visited the York Chocolate Story. I also visited this place with my mum and my big sister Charlotte back in August 2015 and I really enjoyed it then as I did this year.
This attraction is a great place to learn about chocolate, where it came from and how it all started. York is the world's capitol of chocolate incase anhy of you guys didn't know about and we also learned that the first fruity flavored chocolate that Terry's did was Chocolate Apple but that wasn't a big success. And that lead to the much successful Chocolate Orange.
And we also get to taste different kinds of chocolate from the original recipe, chocolate from the mayans, the chocolate Roses selections, learn how to taste test with three out of four senses:
Sight
Sound
Taste
Plus we also get to make and decorate our own chocolate lollipops and also learn how people add different flavors into chocolate. The first time I visited York Chocolate Story the lady who was demonstrating made Strawberry & Passionfruit flavored chocolate domes but this year the lady made Banana & Caramel chocolate domes. Both Strawberry & Passionfruit and Banana & Caramel flavors make a good combination. After we visited York Chocolate Story we went and had lunch at Hole In The Wall Pub. It's a really nice pub and they do a nice light bite fish and chips there.
Sadly on 08/11/19 me, my mum and dad left York for Filey. Not going to say very much about Filey because we always stay in Filey year after year after year. And that's it, this is my York story. I hope you enjoy reading this blog it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
