Out for a jog eh coach? And Louise is getting a bit of outside of school practice with some of her brothers friends. She better save some energy for the game. Energy worth saving as they scored 65-48 during their next game. Nice work. And do you know why? Because they were better than the opponent team. Most of the school faculty aren't happy about the Sirens practicing two-a-day because they think that their education is important. Yes education is important but so is basketball practice. Why can't they just compromise for once?
"For the first time, I truly believe that we can do something special."
Some teachers think that practice is an intrusion to the teams education. Even one of the teachers thinks that attendance is mandatory. Practice is going well but the teachers still can't see eye-to-eye with Marvyn Korn. I'm not taking sides but education is just as mandatory and important as basketball. Practice as long as the members of Westbrook Sirens basketball team are disciplined with themselves. Remember in Mrs. Doubtfire where Daniel/Mrs Doubtfire talks to his son Chris about football and Mrs. Doubtfire saying that she puts her studies first? That's an example of what I'm saying.
The principle has told Marvyn Korn is over stepping his authority and do one-a-day practice. But the team has other ideas by doing a practice session outside of school as well as inside school and Marvyn is impressed. Also Louise has changed her game. And let's just say Louise's game change and that outside practice gave them a one-way ticket to winning their next. And they have something that no other basketball team have: a better coach. And the good news keeps on coming: Marvyn's daughter Emily is coming to stay with him whilst her mother is in Italy doing a job there. Guess things are working out little by little.
