Sorry for the lateness of this blog as I was putting myself before writing this blog because when us girls are on our cycle we have to take care of ourselves.
I liked the house that Marvyn and Emma moved into. Nice interior anyway. Harper has published her profile on Marvyn Korn and so far Marvyn only watched half of it. Why can't he watch the entire video so that he can hear what his team and daughter have to say about him? I already know they've said a lot of nice things about their coach. A swimwear business named Hana Kea is looking for a spokes person and they've asked Olive Cooper to be their spokesperson. However the people who bought a Hana Kea swimsuit never liked the product let alone the brand as one of the members of the Siren team pointed out that she bought a swimsuit of theirs and three washes later the color faded and another said that Hana Kea make their products in a sweatshop, paying the staff their low in money. Teahcers still resent Marvyn Korn but Marvyn came up with the idea of recruiting Savannah Gibson from a different basketball team/school to join the Sirens. At Emma's old school Emma loved drama club, so whilst waiting for her dad Emma joined the school's play.
Olive posted a video review of Hana Kea and told the truth about them and she felt good about it. But the company threatened to sue her.
Trying to recruit Savannah went really well but however the stuff that Marvyn Korn tried to offer including a scholarship went to Olive instead. Plus Savannah turned the offer down and Marvyn felt alright about it. For a brief moment he felt gutted and disappointed about it.
The reason why Olive has been filming in and around a posh house is because her family are poor. They have no money. Olive is pretty much ashamed of her life. I am not ashamed of my life and that's the truth. My mum and dad have done everything for me and gave me and my big sister everything they never had which I am forever grateful. Olive told her teammates/friends the truth and after she took one photo of herself in front of a mansion on a beach her social media life took off. to tell her followers the truth she posted a video confession on social media and Marvyn Korn convinced Olive's parents to keep her in Westbrook.
"It's easy for her to hide who she is behind Instagram.
But one thing I've learned being a coach all these years
is you can't hide who you are on the court."
Marvyn told the principle about Olive and the principle told Hana Kea off and they've dropped the impending charges.
A thought for today:
Life is not all that perfect. It is easy to hide who you are behind social media. But lying about your life never lasts long and people can only like you for who you really are. Remember to always be truthful about yourself to anyone and you'll be true to yourself.
