Emma was still upset with her dad that she doesn't want to speak to him. Samantha has been suspended from the team because of her grades and not turning in her assignment. The question is what now? I guess they'll have to try without Samantha and see how they do. But it didn't go well and Ava didn't change one bit. Marvyn came up with the idea of doing training camp. But Miss Thompson had other ideas by making him run field day. The training camp idea was already out the window before it happened let alone him suggesting it. Samantha hasn't been doing really well both psychologically and emotionally and she doesn't know what the future holds for her. And she's overwhelmed by it. I really do understand what Samantha feels because having autism can cause me to feel overwhelmed and have panic or anxiety attacks very easily.
"But mostly I try to think sometimes "What if I got this? What if it's fine? What if I fail?" I could try again. And try to remember to breath."
All Samantha has to do is try to remember to breath and you guys who are reading this blog should do the same. During field day Marvyn told Louise and Ava about their egos. Thankfully I don't have an alter ego because having one leads to bad things. After that Louise and Ava put their egos aside and got along. Samantha took sometime to herself and Holly's going to have a word with Miss Thompson about letting Samantha back on the team as basketball provides Samantha with structure. But Marvyn said that there are rules and Samantha broke the rules. Suddenly the school fire alarm went off as a wild fire blew it's way to Westbrook.
