Episode 13 (s3 ep1)
A nice scenery start to the episode of a new series. Can’t believe how much I’ve gotten this far. Alucard is getting used to a lonely life. Even though it’s only been a month since he and his friends went their separate ways. He seriously needs a girlfriend. I bet looking after his castle and the Belmont estate won’t be easy work. But at least he knows how to cook, as by the looks of it he’s a really good cook. Anyways Alucard has been losing his mind, as by the looks of it tends to have a conversation with himself by doing impressions of Trevor and Sypha. I wonder how they’re getting on. Just as I thought they’re still travelling in that horse drawn cart. And they’re still fighting off demons. Well this fight scene has guts, fire, magic, great punches, ice impalement and bone crunching.
An army marching on to a castle to meet with another vampire. Carmilla’s hasn’t enjoyed the journey and she definitely could do with a bath. Hector is still been used as a tool in Carmilla’s plan. Unbelievable. But right now I do really feel sorry for him. How is Hector going to get out of this mess that he lead himself into? I am hoping that with all the possible tortures he’s going to endure will help him grow better and stronger.
New character/possibly villain called Saint Germain alert! But it looks like Trevor and Sypha have arrived in a village just in time. And somehow they found out about Dracula’s death. And also somehow about them. But a least Trevor and Sypha were made welcome in the village. Oh great! It’s doesn’t take Trevor very long to spot anyone selling beer and a bar. But at least Sypha has ways of stopping Trevor taking another sip of beer before a drop touches his mouth and trickles down his throat.
Episode 14 (s3 ep2)
What is Isaac up to with those forged demons of his? And why is he asking for this collector for a transmission mirror? Such a shame that he missed out on the opportunity to purchase such a mirror because it was already bought by a couple that gets about at night, if you know what I mean. But it turns out that the collector has something that may interest Isaac: a distance mirror. A mirror that likes to be called “Sir” well that’s a first for a reflective object. But at least it’s kind of like the evil queens magic mirror as it showed Isaac locked up in a cell in a castle owned by Carmilla. Thankfully Isaac found this mirror useful. It was very nice of Isaac to let his forged night creatures to have something to eat before they leave, eating the blood and guts of the villagers and guards. It’s going to take more than guards to stop Isaac from leaving the village to Carmilla’s castle by boat.
It seems like Carmilla has formed a plan and informed her sisters about it. They’re going to collect a heard of mortals as life stock and Hector forging them into night creatures. Could they get any sicker then Countess Elizabeth Bathory?
I wonder how Trevor and Sypha are settling in the village they’re staying. And they’re sharing a bed? What have they been up to? But since episode one of this series I think this Count Saint Germaine is a dodgy character. He even looks it. Both Lisa and Dracula in Hell? That’s the first I’ve heard so far. Alucard is still alone in his castle. OMG! Someone was about to shoot an arrow at him but Alucard stopped him or her. All they wanted to do was ask for his help. Will he help them? Or will he just continue living in his castle in solitude? Turns out he’s accepted. And he’ll teach them how to fight vampires for freedom. I guess his mother still lives on inside of Alucard. She would be so proud of her son.
I am really looking forward to getting to know these new characters, see what this Saint Germaine’s going to do. But what I think is that this episode is one those typically great build up episodes.
Episode 15 (s3 ep3)
Sypha and Trevor have been pretty much reminiscing what they’ve been up to for a whole month since leaving Alucard in the last episode as they planned to leave Lindenfeld. Can’t say I blame Trevor and Sypha for doing that. But at least they’re having fun on the road. Flash back to the time when those night creatures terrified the folks of Lindenfeld, but at least they were protected. Until those monks showed up. The judge enlists Trevor and Sypha to help him investigate about why the priory is attracting frightening people.
I hope Isaac’s voyage goes well. Scratch that I hope the ship goes down along with Isaac. But he did explain to the captain of the ship why he’s returning to Europe. To rid those who conspired against Dracula. Hector is looking worse for wear, all beaten and bruised. At least one of Carmilla’s sisters Lenore is showing some kindness towards Hector by bringing him a hamper of food. Seriously one piece of food a day? Hector wouldn’t survive with just a piece of food a day.
What I think about this episode is that I think Carmilla and her sisters must be out of their heads by wanting to beat and torture Hector. And I can’t believe the people of Lindenfeld worship Dracula. But in the end it was a good episode to watch after my first day back volunteering at the British Heart Foundation. It was exactly what I need.
Episode 16 (s3 ep4)
I wonder how is Alucard going to teach Sumi and Taka to fight against vampires? As it turns out there was a hidden court of a vampire called Cho and they’ve been at her hidden court since they were children. Bet that was frightening because day after day was slavery and death. But thy learned everything about her, her weaknesses. Pretty much everything about her. Alucard is going to teach them everything.
I may have a sister, but I wouldn’t tell anything about her. Why can’t Carmilla tell her sisters about her dreams instead of waving her arms about telling them about her plans? Sounds like two of her sisters might be conspiring against Carmilla. But they think that the vampire empire should be ruled by all four of them.
What is Saint Germain up to now with those monks? The church where they’re based could do with a massive but major clean up and restoration. Sounds like Saint Germaine has wormed his way into the monk’s priory. Don’t think he’s going to last very long in this series.
Investigating like a burglar doesn’t go well together eh Trevor? But the investigation isn’t futile. Sooner or later Carmilla will find out that her younger sister Lenore is showing kindness to Hector. And that won’t be good. Why does she want to know about what Dracula is offering Hector? And why did Hector help Dracula build an army? Seems like Dracula lied all along and now Carmilla wants to control the humans. Looks like it’s going to be and win-win situations. Lenore gives Hector something; Hector gives the vampires what they want. That’s not going to last long I can guarantee that.
Isaac and his forged demons have reach their destination but weren’t entry to Genoa. But things aren’t going well and you can guess what happened which involves fighting, killing, blood and guts.
A very well dramatic end to an episode. And one of the good ones.
