Castlevania Series 3 Ep5-8

Episode 17 (s3 ep5)

Why is Trevor going into a forest? He won’t find any beer there LOL. Maybe to get some sense or something. And why is the judge there too? To ask Trevor how the investigation is going? Hardly likely. But at least their sharing stories about themselves. But at least they both despise Saint Germain. I gotta feeling that Saint Germaine is up to no good at the Monks priory. Sypha’s got a lot of interrogating questions for Saint Germain. She’ll get the answers that she and Trevor are after. Trevor showed up and suggested a quiet talk at a tavern. That is so typical of him. He doesn’t want to be too far from beer.

And Alucard’s training beings. I wonder if he’s a good teacher. And it looks like they’re having fun. Training to fight against vampires should be fun. Looks like Trevor is behaving himself around his beer. But they’re getting answers from Saint Germain that the judge wants. Detective skills are really kicking in for them.

There’s nothing much to say about this episode because it’s mainly about getting answers that someone wants. Maybe in the next episode there might be some fighting, blood and guts of the sorts.

Episode 18 (s3 ep6)

Finally for once it’s nice to see Hector with clothes on for a change. Lenore and Hector went for a walk and he has to wear a collar leash. How inhumane is that? I would never make anyone wear a collar leash. If I want to take I someone for a walk I would make him or her wear a wrist cuff. Not treat them like a dog. But I’m not a vampire at all. Sounds like Carmilla and her sisters including Lenore decided to try and talk Hector into forging demons. Not sure if that’s going to work. But we’ll have to wait and see.

Trevor isn’t sure he’s going to trust Saint Germain at all. Well this episode has got a really cool scene where Saint Germain is having a dream. It was really awesomely and wickedly spectacular, talk about being transported to different places and seeing things. And very colourful I must say. Well at least there are Isaac’s demons so if this episode doesn’t have any blood and guts I’ll let this episode off. Interesting there’s a forged demon who can actually talk. And this demon explained what he was before to Isaac, his truths and lies, the lot.

Episode 19 (s3 ep7)

Another day at Alucard’s castle, another day or training. Seriously if Sumi and Taka don’t get enough sleep, they won’t be able to concentrate. Back into the Belmont vaults they go. Belmont family history was worth explaining to Sumi and Taka. Knowledge is the key to killing monsters. The judge looks like he’s doing his rounds by making sure that everyone’s day-to-day life is still normal and Saint Germain is still up to no good as usual at the priory. Isaac is still on the march with his forged demons at his side. Meets a new face who is living in an empty village all on her own and told Isaac about the village she currently resides and happens to a witch of sorts called Miranda. She’s old and her magic is not what it used to be, and she explained to Isaac about a transmit mirror. How many magical mirrors does this anime have?

Priory monks, what do they want now? At least Trevor might have his usual way of getting one of the monks for an interrogation. The judge seems a bit anxiety until Trevor and Sypha arrived with one of the monks. Back then interrogations tend to involve physical beatings and torture. But Trevor and Sypha have every right to be suspicious about Saint Germain. Can’s say that I blame them because I’m getting way too suspicious about him. What is he after?

Well at least there is some fighting in this episode.

Episode 20 (s3 ep8)

Back at Carmilla’s home and Morana finds one of her sisters, Striga still awake in the middle of the day, working on the plans. With that chatting it woke Carmilla. Sumi and Taka left Alucard behind in the vaults and feel that Alucard is distancing himself. Well he’s been lonely for a while and probably hasn’t gotten used to having company again. The monks can tell that Saint Germain might be lying to them after he discovered a night creature nailed up in a secret room in the priory. That might interest the judge once he finds out about that. The interrogation between Trevor, the monk and Sypha continues but right up until Saint Germain turned up and explained to them about the night creature and where it is located they weren’t getting the answers they wanted from the monk. But at least they came up with a plan which it’ll involve killing the night creature. But by the looks of that night creature, it looks strong.

By the looks of thing Lenore is drawing Hector into their plan. But the more visits she makes, the more closely they get. I think it’s the whole keep your friends close and your enemies closer tactic. Looks like Trevor, the judge, Saint Germain and Sypha and put together an army and are on the march to the priory and are prepared for battle.

This episode is sort of quiet in places but at least a battle will be taking place by the looks of it.

Episode 21 & 22 (s3 ep9 & 10 series finale)

I’ve decided since I’m at the last two episodes of the series I would review both episodes in one blog.

I gotta feeling that hell is going to break loose in this episode as the village looked eerily quiet. Obviously the residents are settling down to their evening meals. With every mark that the monks made hell has broken loose in the village. But Trevor, The judge, saint Germain and Sypha are ready to do battle. If only Alucard could join them. But I think Isaac is going to make thing worse times a million if he keeps making forged demons. Loads of blood and guts is what I like to see in a battle. And Sypha’s magic is a plus. She even made sure Saint Germain remains safe.

Seems to me that everyone in this series can really pack more than a punch. And I mean really, really pack more than a punch. Sypha and Trevor really sure know how to fight of night demons. Isaac is stronger than he look’s as he nearly became some sort slave or something and kills the man turning innocent people into his slaves. Hector is a in a spot of bother by Lenore and Alucard ends up in a spot of bother by Sumi and Taka. How will they get out of their own situations? Bad news for Trevor, Sypha as Saint Germain when they arrived in the secret room where that creatures lives. And guess who’s back with his missus

Isaac is in search of something, which I can’t remember what it was. I think it might be that transmission mirror. But who knows. My memory is short term and trying to remember things gets me frustrated easily. But back at the priory it seems that demon is controlling the doorway to hell. And gave Trevor, Sypha and Saint Germain more demons to fight off. Pretty much everyone who joined in the battle had lost their lives, including the judge. But before he dies, he asked Trevor and Sypha to retrieve is knife so that he can kill him again in hell as well as burning down his house. Trevor whipping the demon with two whips certainly gives Indiana Jones a run for its money. Well at least the demon only wanted to open the gateway to hell just to bring Dracula and Lisa back but Trevor killed the demon and Saint Germain closed it’s corridor.

Well Alucard managed to get out of his situation after killing Sumi and Taka all because they felt that they were being lied to. So Alucard killed them before they killed him. But what I think Alucard needs is his friends. Before they burned the judge’s house down, curiosity really killed the cat for Trevor by discovering that whoever the judge sends into the dark forest will end up being killed.

Striga, Morana and Carmilla were wondering how Lenore had gotten Hector to be their slave by placing a slave ring on one of his fingers. Lenore did ask a vampire magician to conjure up four slave rings. When Hector makes a night creature, they’re loyal to him and they’ll be loyal to Carmilla, Striga, Morana and Lenore too after Hector swore loyalty to Lenore as the other three rings are linked. If Hector tried to harm Carmilla, Striga, Morana and Lenore, take it off, of run away, the ring will cause him siring pain. Looks like he’s not getting out of his situation very easily. And just like in the last episode of series 2 Trevor and Sypha are back on the road again. But more importantly a cliff-hanger.

What I think of the last two episode let alone all 3 series is that there were epic graphics, fighting, magic and story telling. But juts to let you guys know the episode 21 has some content which I won’t mention because I know there are sensitive people who are reading this blog, so I was just keeping things clean for my readers. But all in all Castlevania is a masterpiece to watch.
