On 27/07/22 I went to Leeds Art Gallery with one of my friends after a whole month of Arriva bus strike. We we're supposed to go early last month, but the strikes got in the way. However the wait was worth it. The art gallery didn't disappointment me at all. Art galleries are like a home away from home for me and not many people go to art galleries and museums. Most people just go around and look at the artwork, you are allowed to take a sketch pad with you and sketch what you see. I remember going to Leeds Art Gallery during college as a trip, it used to have a little Henry Moore exhibit, but it's gone now. Those we're the good old days. I really loved the abstract art on the top floor of the art gallery as it's my favourite art style because many years ago people painted paintings by the rule book. But when abstract art began at around the 19th century and the 29th century everyone began tearing up the rule book and painted things that they come up with. When I do an abstract painting I don't tear up the rule book, I burn it because art is about expressing yourself and what you feel. I can't to go back again or go to go to a different art museum.
After the museum we slowly made our way to Trinity Kitchen in Leeds Trinity for lunch. I had 3 chicken wings with BBQ Jerk and curly fries from Archies. I don't know why but I was in chicken mood for lunch yesterday. I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to try it with lemon and herb next time, that'll give Nando's a run for it's money.
