Episode 14 (s2 ep1): Burden of Sinners:
New series, episode 1, let’s get cracking.
Boy those girls really need to get their heads together. They’re way too obsessed with the night class students. Yuki better come up with some tactics in order to keep them under control because she really can’t handle them all by herself. Kiryu is back at last. I wonder how the treatment he’s been receiving went. Let alone I hope Kaname’s blood worked. Yuki’s got so many questions, so little time. The opening music for series 2 sounded upbeat, the opening credits were dramatic. Kaname asking his students a favour from them. What is he asking them for? The headmaster is still a bit weird but in a cute way like he was in the last series. I wouldn’t mind him for a father figure. As long as he doesn’t get too weird in a cute way. Maria is still at the school but not as a rent-a-body. Turns out why Shizuka used Maria’s body was because she and Maria are related. Kiryu’s family were used as pawns because they hunted Shizuka’s lover and someone else was behind it. Someone who used to be a human and was not happy because Shizuka was in love with a pureblood. This is getting interesting. Once Shizuka discovered whom it was she attempted to gain more power. Bet that didn’t go down well. What? A true enemy for the purebloods? But who? OK some crazy vampire has showed up to kill Kiryu for killing a Shizuka. Don’t the other purebloods know that Kaname killed Shizuka and Kiryu only just injured her? If it weren’t for Kaname showing up and stopping the other purebloods from trying to execute Kiryu, they would of killed him and Yuki too. The night class students agreed that they should stand with Kaname. That’s what I would to with my friends. Kaname’s blood is only temporary? What? It’ll never keep Kiryu satisfied. Looks like the hunters association have another job for Kiryu. I wonder what it could be.
The end credits looks visually a lot better than series 1.
Episode 15 (s2 ep2): The Eternal Promise:
Yuki is still reeling from the previous episode. I mean what with Kiryu has been through. The association has ordered Kiryu to monitor a vampire gala. Shouldn’t be problem. But we all know what happens, it’s not going to go well. Yuki’s helping a little boy find his mother whilst the night class students are getting themselves ready for the gala. But I think that little boy might be leading Yuki into a trap of some sort. But the only thing that little boy did was put Yuki to sleep and she was eventually found by Kaname, Takuma. Kaname has no intention to turn Kiryu into a criminal until they know for sure who is the murderer. This gala is one posh party. There must be over a 100 aristocratic vampires there. Including Kiryu and Toga and other famous actors and singers too. Kaname asked Yuki not to leave until he returns but she felt like she’s been in a windowless room before. I’m glad that little vampire boy apologised to Yuki but I really think Yuki shouldn’t not of followed that little boy again. Well the gala seems to be going well that is until Kiryu noticed his twin brother was there too. Looks like most of the parents who were invited brought their daughters in hopes that Kaname would have a favour in one of them. Looks like Ichiru is employed by the Senate. I got a bad feeling about this. Yuki is falling for Kaname more and more. Is Kaname offering Yuki to become a vampire? She accepted the offer but wasn’t turned. I hope she would be turned at some point. The day students are still out of control let alone out of their minds. And Yuki better stop worrying so much.
Episode 16 (s2 ep3): The Azure Portrait:
Everyone in the night class is going to Aido’s villa without Hanabusa and Shiki. Although Shiki has a reason and it’s to do with his mother. Thank goodness there are no screaming girls outside the night class building for once. Aido is one spoiled vampire because he thinks he’d be waited on hand and foot. But I’m sure Yuki would tell Kaname on Aido. Aido may look charming and intelligence but he is spoiled. Yuki still remembers Kaname saving her when she was a little girl. I don’t know what’s going on with Aido and Akatsuki. And why did Aido ask Akatsuki to look for something that is holding a grudge against Kaname’s family and Kaname’s secrets. I just hope they don’t figure out that Kaname killed Shizuka. I’m still glad she’s still dead. Kaname, Aido and Akatsuki have known each other since they were children and Aido’s hated him since then, even though it was a lie. But he’s been there for him when his parents supposedly killed themselves. At least I think they killed themselves. Most of the time a death of both parents or either parents don’t change someone. But somehow it changed Kaname. What is Kaname planning on? That is something that Aido might find out. Yuki is still wondering about whether becoming a vampire is a good idea or a bad idea, even if Kiryu wouldn’t let it happen.
Episode 17 (s2 ep4): Devil’s Awakening:
What does Shiki’s uncle want to show him? OMG! Shiki’s father is still alive. Feelings are still conflicting Yuki. If Yuki wants answers, she’d have to go to the vampire hunter association for answers dating ten years before. I hope she finds the answer that she’s looking for. Turns out that the so-called “cursed twins” means Kiryu and Ichiru and Yuki’s past seems to be unfolding before her. There must be something going on that happened ten years before. And she scared of what happened. Kaname and some of his friends came back early just to be Yuki. It’s a good thing that he came home because Yuki wants a word with him. Who would kill Kaname’s parents? And why would they do that?
Episode 18 (s2 ep5): The Subordinates Trap:
Why was Kaname there that night he rescued Yuki? Who erased her memory? Whose this new student entering the day class? Yuki still wants to know why was Kaname there in the first place. Kiryu better drink Kaname’s blood if he knows what’s good for him. Ichiro? Going to be a new day class student? My bet is that the Senate ordered him to do. Toga leaving? The headmaster is going to be so lonely. I wish he would stay then both he and the headmaster can figure out why the Senate sent Ichiro to the school. Even if the truth is covered in blood, Yuki still wants to know what happened in her past, even if it means becoming Kaname’s lover. To me if I was Yuki I’d be Kaname’s lover no matter what because he’ll protect me.
