Episode 1:
1950's
Love an old black and white American sitcom from the 50's & 60's. Typical Vision can't go out in public looking like a cyborg from the future and Wanda making friends with their new suburban neighbor Agnes which was awkward because she has to keep her powers hidden which means both Wanda and Vision have to try to blend in. Oh no! They've both forgot that Vision's boss is coming over for dinner with his wife.
Like any kind of American TV show it has an advert half-way through the episode.
Well the dinner with the boss and his wife has gone off to an awkward start, Wanda better get herself all glammed up. I love Wanda's dinner dress. It suited Elizabeth Olsen really well. But preparing dinner didn't go well for Wanda as she has to keep her powers hidden. But somehow Vision kept their guests entertained and Wanda managed to prepare dinner very nicely. Sometimes I have an English breakfast for tea but just as Vision's boss and his wife began to get suspicious over Wanda and Vision they were saved by Vision's boss choking on a sausage. Thankfully Vision stealthily saved his boss and is now in line for a promotion at work. Hang on why is the camera zooming out and showing someone watching Wanda and Vision?
Episode 2:
1960's
Love the opening titles, very Bewitched. It has convinced me a bit to buy Bewitched on DVD. Wanda heard something whilst trying to sleep. Must be someone messing about at night or maybe it's just a tree branch. Whatever it is they're sure to have a good nights sleep. But something strange is about to happen like why is a toy helicopter in color? By heck to committee leader; Dotty is one ambiguous lady. During the neighborhood watch committee Vision falls ill after a stick of gum gets stuck into his cogs and dial system. Remember he's an android after all. Something definitely isn't right; from the radio Wanda can hear someone calling for her. Wanda and Vision's magic act went well despite Vision's gum situation. But with Wanda's help Vision perked up and after that disturbance during the nights they're expecting a baby which has now made their lives more colorful. But seriously something strange is going on because someone dressed in a bee keepers outfit showed up and things started to appear in color. Who's doing this?
I really do thought that this series is a delight to watch, Paul and Elizabeth's comedic acting was superb. The jokes were great. Paul and Elizabeth are definitely going to make Wanda and Vision a golden couple. I know that some people think that Bettany's performance was less successful and struggled with the comedy, but I beg to differ because I think his performance was brilliant and his comedy was good and he has a great Cheshire cat grin.
