Biscuit Truffles 07/04/20

I decided to challenge myself by making what I think was one of the most difficult recipes that I ever have to make but will make again.


Biscuit Truffles

What are biscuit truffles? Biscuit truffles are biscuits in a small ball.


Here's the recipe:


Ingredients:

100ml Condensed milk

30ml drinking chocolate or coco powder

14 Chocolate digestive biscuits

40g butter


Things in the kitchen you need:

Fridge

Digital scales

eating spoon (or hands if it's easier)

Digital timer

Electric cooker

Mixing spoon

Mixing bowl

Rolling pin

Pan

Baking tray

15ml measuring spoon

1/2 measuring cup


Method:

Wash and dry your hands


Before you start cooking:

Get out all the food you need

Get out all of the things you need to cook with



1. Put 14 chocolate biscuits into the bowl


2. Use end of the rolling pin


3. Break all the biscuits


4. Keep breaking them until they have turned into crumbs


5. Get a 15ml measuring spoon


6. Put 2 measuring spoons of drinking chocolate into the bowl


7. Weigh 40g butter and put into a pan


8. Get a 1/2 measuring cup


9. Put condensed milk in the measuring cup


10. Fill it to the top


11. Put the condensed milk in the pan


12. Put the pan on the hop


13. Turn the hop to 4


14. Set the timer for 5 minuets


15. Stir with a mixing spoon FAST


16. Keep stirring until the timer makes a noise


17. When the timer makes a noise turn off the hob


18. Put everything from the pan into the bowl


19. Set the digital timer for 3 minuets


20. Stir everything in the bowl


21. Keep stirring until the timer makes a noise


22. Set the digital timer for 10 minuets


23. Come back when the timer makes a noise


24. When the timer makes a noise


25. If it doesn't look like its going to stick add two more drops of condensed milk.


26. Get an eating spoon or use your hands


27. Get a spoonful or a handful of mixture


28. Roll the mixture in your hands to make a ball


29. Put all the balls onto a baking tray


30. This recipe says it makes 12 balls, so make more balls until all the crumbs are gone and put them on a baking tray


31. Put the baking tray in the fridge


32. Truffles ready to eat in 4 hours


33. Wash up and put everything away


34. Keep truffles in the fridge


35. If uneaten put truffles in a bin after 3 days.
