This afternoon I went to Calder & Hops because it was a leaving lunch for one of the L2MU's supporters Donna Haigh. I had a great time and everyone did. We all reminisced our favourite events she supported. My fave event she did was the Van Gogh experience in York. It was a tiny glimpse into my world. I told everyone about me and my sisters theatre trip last night where we saw Dracula The Bloody Truth. Everyone brought Donna cards and gifts, even I baked some Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes:

Butter cream recipe:
Ingredients:
125g Icing sugar
75g Butter/Margarine
Equipment
Digital timer
Spoon/Electric mixer
Mixing bowl
Measuring scales
Method:
1. Weigh 75g of butter/margarine and add them into the mixing bowl.
2. Weigh 125g of icing sugar into the bowl.
3. Set the timer for 2 minuets.
4. Stir the butter and icing sugar together until the timer makes a noise
Baking tip:
When making the butter cream icing always make it in the morning and leave to set in the fridge until either teatime or the following day depending on what your making the buns for. That way if your using an icing syringe or piping bag it'll stay in the shape of the nozzle of your choice.
They were meant to be a present for Donna and her family but in the end everyone who came had a bun each, so I'm not complaining about that as they all gave me 10 stars and told me they were really good. Even Kieran gave me his own Paul Hollywood handshake. I wish I could do bake-off but baking in as I can't cope with pressure because due to my disability it causes me to get overwhelmed with stress and it'll lead to a meltdown. But all in all they went down a treat 😊.
