On Tuesday 26/01/21 I did another All Things Food demo, but with a little help from my mum. Prior to what we did we ran out of homemade tomato soup and we were also running out on pasta sauce. My mum suggested that we should both the pasta sauce and the soup at the same time. But I told her that I can only show one thing and not two things because that's what a food demo is, not Saturday Kitchen. Plus I can only do one thing at time, multitasking might overwhelm me.
But anyways my food demo went really well. Even though I asked my mum to be part of it.
Here's the recipe:

3. Put the pan on the middle ring of the cooker and switch on the gas to high and put the olive spread in the pan.
4. When it has melted put in the chopped onions and stir then turn the gas down to low and leave to cook for 2 minuets and then stir 3 times.

6. Add the flour in the pan and stir for 1 minuet
7. Pour in the stock and tomatoes.
8. Turn up the gas and stir.
9. Turn down the gas and put the pan lid on and leave to cook for 20 minuets.
10. Turn off the gas. Leave for 1 hr to cool and then blend with the stick blender.
11. Taste and add salt and pepper if needed
12. Wash pan, spoon, measuring jug, stick blender and measuring spoon in either a sink or dishwasher.
13. If you want you can add 4 tbsp of ready made pesto. Taste it and if you don’t like it try different kinds of spices.
Making homemade soup taste a lot better than what you get in a can because it has better nutrition than a can of soup and it healthier. I really enjoyed making this soup and I hope you guys enjoy making your very own homemade soup.
