Cherry Cake

Mum's 61st Birthday 23/04/20

On this very day my mum turned 61 years old. During her lifetime has became a sister to three brothers, met and married my dad and together they had two wonderful daughters who are like Anna and Elsa from Frozen, one without learning disabilities, one with learning disabilities. But no matter what mum has always been there.

The other day I asked my sister Charlotte who's going to bake our mum's birthday cake 🎂 and she answered "well I haven't got the right ingredients but you Sophie have been baking since the start of March this year. So I think you should do it." And after that I thought I would just make my mum a plain cake with plain icing but my mum suggested orange flavored icing and two days ago mum suggested orange zest in the cake and today I baked my mum a orange flavored birthday cake.
