This has been one of the best Saturdays so far because I got to meet up with my friend Becksy Preston and we went to Wakefield Museum at Wakefield One. My favorite gallery is the front room because we saw a Victorian Yorkshire kitchen display complete with a Victorian Yorkshire range and that's what people used in the Victorian era cook. There was also another display which is a second world war 1940's living room, you sit in one of the 1940's chairs and listen to selection of four memory stories from people who lived during the second world war on an old fashioned wireless from that decade.
After we went to the museum we went to Create Cafe for lunch. Becksy had a delicious ham and cheese panni whereas I had a delicious fish finger sandwich with onion rings. I can't wait to meet up with Becksy again on Wednesday.
In afternoon after I got home I started painting my Johanna Basford canvas. It may take me a while but it’s a work in progress.
Before is sign off I got my Luv2MeetU event for next month flyer and I am definitely putting my name down for bowling at xscape and pub grub club and 80's pub quiz at calder and hops but I yet to decide on what else I want to do, I've got all bank holiday to think about what to choose.
